Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is available for the spring semester at an elementary school in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This part-time, onsite position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 15, 2026, providing services primarily to preschool students, with occasional support needed for grades 1 through 3. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Fridays off.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for speech and language disorders in young children
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication development
- Maintaining accurate records and writing progress reports
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
- Adhering to state licensure and educational credentialing standards
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license to practice speech-language pathology
- Educator credential relevant to school settings
- Experience working with early childhood populations (PreK to grade 3)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
